[GUIDE]Create a Counter-Strike 1.6 INTERNET-Based Server using SteamCMD (With AMX Mod X)

  Creating a Counter-Strike 1.6 INTERNET-Based Server

  Step 1:

  Download SteamCMD from the official Valve website: SteamCMD for Windows

  Step 2:

  Go to My Computer, then to C:/ and create a new folder called HLDS.

  Step 3:
• Extract steamcmd.zip, and copy steamcmd.exe to C:/HLDS. Right-click steamcmd.exeand click Run as Administrator and then click Yes. Wait for a few seconds as SteamCMD updates to the latest version available. (Tip: If SteamCMD opens, and crashes abruptly, OpenInternet Explorer, click Tools and then click Internet Options. Navigate to the Connectionstab and click Settings and check Automatically Detect Settings. Click Ok)
• Step 4:

  Once the update is completed you will see “Steam>” in the last line in the command prompt window. Type “login anonymous” and hit the enter key. Once logged in, type“app_update 90 validate” and hit the enter key again. Wait for a few minutes as Counter Strike 1.6 Server files are downloaded from the Steam Servers. This should take about 15 – 40 minutes depending upon your Internet download speed.

  Step 5: 

  Steam has acknowledged that there is currently a bug with SteamCMD that causes it to report successful downloads even when the download has not been completed. You will notice that the download completed quickly, in the previous step. This indicates that the server did not download the files correctly. Therefore a workaround for this is to Close SteamCMD by typing “quit”, Download the following three files: app_manifest_10.acf,app_manifest_70.acf,app_manifest_90.acf and place them in “C:\HLDS\steamapps” and then repeat Step 4. It is recommended to quit SteamCMD once more and repeat Step 4 to ensure all files are completely downloaded.

  Step 6:

  Once you see “progress: 100″ (or your HLDS folder size is about 751 MB), type “quit”in SteamCMD and hit the enter key. Download the Server Configuration files we have compiled for you: NonSteamAMXModXMetamodInstaller.exe
  

  These files will automatically install:

  1. Non-Steam
  2. AMX Mod X (Version 1.8.2)
  3. Metamod (Version 1.21)
  4. Dual Protocol 47 & 48 (For compatibility with all Counter Strike 1.6 versions)

  Once downloaded, Right-click NonSteamAMXModXMetamodInstaller.exe and click Run as Administrator, and then click Yes. Click Browse and chose the cstrike folder for installation. In our case it will be“C:/HLDS/SteamApps/common/Half-Life/cstrike/” ClickInstall.

  Step 7:

  Once the Server configuration files are installed, Go to“C:/HLDS/SteamApps/common/Half-Life/cstrike/” and openserver.cfg and replace Server Name with any name, e.g: TeRTriKE CS Server. And Replace RCON Password with any password of your choice.

  Step 8: CONGRATULATIONS! Server Installation Complete!

  In order to switch on the server on, Right-click hlds.exe found inC:\HLDS\steamapps\common\Half-Life\ and choose Run as Administrator. Edit the Server Name and RCON Password (to match the one you set earlier in Step 5) and chose your map, click Start Server. On the first start, you will be asked to allow HLDS through the firewall, click Yes to ensure to HLDS is able to communicate on the network properly. (HLDS may suddenly close after this, simply open HLDS by double-clicking HLDS.exe, it will now function properly)

  The Server Configuration files automatically installed Amx Mod X 1.8.2 on your server. Amx Mod X is probably the best Server plugin out there that can help you manage maps, kick/slay/ban/gag players, pause/restart server, manage cvars and other useful elements right from the game.

  Step 9: 

  To Make the Server INTERNET BASED you will have to do Port Forwarding, which means you will have to forward the Server Port through your router to the Internet, Port-Forwarding varies with every router, so message the Router Model and Company of your router  below I will Help You!  

  • Port you need to forward: 27015 (shown in Server Dashboard)
  • Protocol: UDP
  • IP Address: (Shown in Server Dashboard)

  Step 10:

  Once you’ve port forwarded, it’s time to play with your friends, and this is exactly what you’ve been waiting for! Grab your Server’s IP address from Google or Here and grab your Server Port from the Server Dashboard:

[Guide] Change the OS X Version To What Version You Want!

  Change OS X Version

  I suppose the question would arise, “Why would one want to do this?” On Leopard, it is incredibly useful in situations where one may wish to install software that claims to require an update of OS X that you don’t want to install or you can’t install. Or some apps don’t support the newest OS X. I’ll be demonstrating on Snow Leopard, but the procedure is the same on all OS X.  Please read the whole post before changing the version of your OS X.

  How to change the OS X Version?

  1. First go to “/System/Library/CoreServices/” and make a copy of  “SystemVersion.plist” on your desktop and rename it to “SystemVersion_bak.plist”
  2. Second open Terminal.
  3. Type “sudo nano -w /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist” (Without the quotes) and press enter.
  4. You will be prompted for your password, type it in and press enter.
  5. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the end of the 10.6.2 under “ProductUserVisibleVersion” and erase the version number.
  6. Enter in a version number of your choice.
  7. Repeat for the version number displayed under “ProductVersion”.
  8. Press Control-X to exit.
  9. It will ask you if you wish to “save modified buffer.” so press Y.
  10. It will ask for a filename to write. Press Enter to accept the default name.
  11. You’re done!!

  Notes

  Never restart your computer while you have changed the OS X version or else after the restart most of the apps and services won’t work. Which means always change the version back before restarting/shutting down your mac. If that happened by mistake just re-name  “SystemVersion_bak.plist” that you copied to your desktop to “SystemVersion.plist” and replace it with the file in “/System/Library/CoreServices/” and restart your computer.

  There are some apps that ask you to restart the computer after it has finished installing. Just use the tutorial above and change the version back to the original one, save it, then restart your computer.

  There are lots of apps that work only by changing the version of OS X you are using, but you may also come across apps that still won’t work just by changing the OS X version so keep that in mind.

  How to Run ?

  1. First Download Android Lollipop v5.0 ISO or Kitkat v4.4  ISO & Daemon Tools Ultra CRACKED VERSION from below. You Need 2 Flash/Pen Drive With 2 and 4 GB Minimum Size Respectively. [LINKS BELOW]
  2. Make sure both are empty.
  3. Plug Your 2GB Pen/Flash Drive To The PC.
  4. 1. Installing Daemon Tools ULTRA
     2. Download and install Daemon Tools Ultra with Trial License [Links Below]
        
     3. At the End of the Installation remove ‘Run Daemon Tools Ultra’ tick
     4. Now Run Daemon Tools Ultra Activator.exe
     5. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
     6. Click Next and select your Daemon Tools Ultra installation path (ex : C:Program FilesDaemon Tools Ultra)
     7. Click  Next > Activate and wait till it says successfully activated
     8. Follow the steps you get there
     9. After all You will have Daemon Tools Ultra with a lifetime paid activation
  5. Open Daemon Tools ULtra
  6. Choose Write bootable image to USB option. Here you will need to perform several easy steps:
     1. Insert USB device and choose it in the program.
     2. Choose the bootable image you want to write. Use Browse… button to browse the iso file.
     3. Check Rewrite MBR option to create master boot record in the beginning of the USB device. In this case system will understand that the device is bootable. Be sure that WMI (Windows Management Instrumentation) service is switched on, because otherwiseRewrite MBR option may not work properly.
     4. Check Format option and choose the type of file system and the label of the volume.
     5. Check the available space on the inserted device.
     6. Click Start button to begin creating bootable USB or Home button to cancel this operation and return to the main window.
     Wait a few seconds while DAEMON Tools Ultra is creating bootable USB. Click Hide button to open main program’s window. Later you will be able to expand Write bootable image to USB wizard by clicking on the Status Bar.

     

     Bootable USB was successfully created. Click Finish button to close wizard or Reopen Wizard button to create another one bootable USB.
     
  7. Restart Your PC & Boot From Your Flash Drive . [WARNING IF DONE INCORRECTLY DAMAGE MAY NOT BE IRREVERSIBLE]  
  8. Chose Option To Install Android on Your Hard Disk 
  9. Now Select the 4GB Pendrive/Memory card from the menu. Choosing Hard disk may corrupt Your OS.
  10. Choose the option “Do Not Format”
  11. Next it will ask you to install GRUB? choose yes.  
  12. The installation will begin and you will see a progress bar.
  13. If you the screen below, the installation is complete. Congratulations! Now you can run Android-x86.
  14. Choose The option to  run it “RUN Android -86
  15. After that set date, time etc.
  16. Now Choose power off from top right hand side and shut it down.
  17. Next eject both the  pen-drives and boot windows normally.
  18. Whenever you have to use Android on any system boot from the 4GB pendrive in which Android is installed!!!

  How to install apps!!

  1. To install apps you can USE  App stores (Like Google Play or Amazon App Store) or via APK File.
  2. To install APK
  3. Move APK file to the Pendrive in which Android is installed, While using windows OS (Obviously  )
  4. Now Boot PC Using Pendrive(Android)
  5. Open  File Manage
  6. The check All the USB Ports.
  7. Any one of them will show you all the files on pendrive.
  8. Double click the apk file and if it shows the warning change the settings.
